C'est Finit!!!

So I havn't exactly been very good at keeping this page updated, nor have I got any pictures up here yet...but...I do have a valid excuse!!!! Somehow our internet in camp got messed up and couldn't find the satellite, therefor no internet, and no way of checking email or keeping you posted on the craziness of bush life!!
Well let me just give you a little update
As of Friday at around 3:00 the contract was over and all of the trees are gone. The past 2 weeks were pretty hecktic (sp?) with a new company which kept everybody on their toes (and a little on edge), but we survived fire hours (When there has not been rain for a while it is unsafe for planters to plant from noon to 6 oclock which means EARLY mornings for the cook...2:55am wake up...WOOHOO!!!). We also survived a camp move to a slightly less cozy sand pit, and avoided a second camp move and finished a day early. After cleaning up camp, and heading back to the shop to unload I decided that I wasn't particularily in the mood for cleaning the cookshack so we headed into town instead for some food (that I didn't prepare) and a bit of relaxation. A bunch of us rented a hotel room (that's right a real bed), went out for some drinks, enjoyed the rest of the evening to wake up and go back to the shop to clean for the rest of the day. I cleaned that place from top to bottom with bleach (my hands are suffering the consequences of not using gloves...BURNING) then finally at 5:30 my work was officially FINISHED and I could enjoy my last night in Thunder Bay without much to worry about.
No night off is complete without a full belly, sauna, starbucks, and enjoying whatever evening Thunder Bay has to offer.
So then after saying goodbye to Thunder Bay, I was off to catch a plane at 6:30 this morning, where my friends mom picked 3 of us up and brought me the the place that is the closest thing to home right now.
Today has been crazy doing laundry, running arrends, and getting ready to embark on the next phase of summer "GERMANY BOUND". It still hasn't sunk in that I'm not going to have to wake up tomorrow and cook, nor that I'm leaving the country in just 2 days. WOW...
Anyways this was a bit of a novel, but I'm goin to upload my pics tonight and hopefully you can enjoy them!
Bye for now,
